Conflict At WorkHere was the initial letter I received:  Hi Jon,   
I know you're trying to be helpful with the emails you send out but I've had several people mention things about this. (not you, just in general)  If you find things that are helpful like this please speak with your TL and/or PC about it. They can make any other notations that need to be made. Some tools, such as this, may need to be okayed with IT prior to the  floor using them as well.

Judging by my last journal entry, it's been roughly a year and a half since I did anything in this community. Outside, however, much has happened and I am hardly the man that I once was. If time and circumstances permitted I'd go into more detail, but I'm at work currently and on a call with a customer trying to assist him with regaining a wireless connection to the internet.

That's right, I now work for Apple as an agent with their Wireless Multimedia group. 99% of the time I enjoy my job, but right now I feel as if I'm falling asleep and I'm in pain, which has become a daily occurrence unfortunately.

I hope to post some form of written material in the coming future. I haven't written much in the way of poetry or fiction over the past 3-4 years, but I did write a "poem" within the last week as part of a birthday present for a girl I work with, which I hope to post shortly.

In the meantime, for those of you still watching me, I'll post a back-and-forth e-mail conversation I had with a Performance Coach at my job from yesterday/today.

Enjoy, for those of you still with me after all this time.

I decided to peek in on any messages I might have received, and I thank you for the kind words.

In general, all is well. Given how I was when I last came on DA, I am a lot better though sometimes it doesn't feel that way.

Still haven't really done anything creative. I finally got my shit together and am in college, and between my studies and work (tech support for Apple) any free time I do get is usually spent trying to unwind or rest. I miss writing and hope it comes back to me one day.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

If you're in favor of this, if you believe in the power this COMMUNITY has, then join me. Post this in your own journal. Spread the word to everyone, with a and a .

We might be touting at windmills like Don Quixote.

But if enough of us do it, we might be able to remind everyone that this is a COMMUNITY first and foremost.

Thanks for the continuous support. I finally am back on this thing and you were the first person whose work I wanted to see. I am always impressed by your writing. I really like your honesty and the fabulous way you are able to describe your feelings.

for the swedish black metal acts check out also Dissection, Marduk, Dark Funeral, Watain, Blodsrit, Shining, Craft Armagedda....however there are many more great bands from Sweden :)
